Despite the large number of disagreements between the two states, wars were extremely rare. The main hostilities took place mainly with intelligent Akiri insects. A few thousand years later, in Warcraft, trolls defeated their opponents, and peace reigned. Around the same time, the night elves discovered the Well of Eternity.
Abusing the discovered magic, they started a war against troll civilizations and literally in a few years completely destroyed the empires built over millennia. At the end of this War of the Ancients, a cataclysm occurred, which divided the continent into several parts and led to the existence of the world that we know from a series of games.
Separately, it is worth mentioning the war of the trolls with the high elves. After the founding of Quel'Thalas in the former lands of this people, trolls for 4,000 years accumulated strength and were wary of elf magic. However, having gathered a large enough army, they attacked the race of immortals. Without the help of humans, the elves would lose this war, but the combined army could stop the attackers. As a result, Warcraft trolls lost many lives, but were never able to revive their former greatness.
In Game
We get acquainted with the modern history of trolls through the well-known series of games. After Thrall's support, Blackspear trolls found a new home and became part of the horde. This is now the game race in World of Warcraft.
Horde trolls take full advantage of their strong body. They have an increased ability to restore health and masterfully own small arms (increased chance of a critical strike). In addition, their hunting skills also play an important role, increasing damage to animals.
