It must be inserted between the two halves with the sharp side. Go to the place where the comb should be and insert two hearts. How to cut felt
If you are keen on making felt toys, then purchase separate sharp scissors for the fabric. Do not cut material with a tool designed for other purposes. Experienced needlewomen are advised to purchase separate scissors for different types of felt. To get the perfect edge, do not cut polyester fabric with scissors for woolen material. They are dull from this.
