Silitus is the location of the multiplayer online game WoW. Located on the southwestern edge of Kalimdor. In the first versions of the game, this was the place where important story quests with episodic sidelines were located. It hosted a major gaming event related to the Gateway of Ahn'Qiraj. The redesign of this zone included a high-class open quest for single players. At the same time, groups of 5 people could engage themselves in battles with world bosses. General facts
The area is one of the insect-infected areas of the world. In this area lies part of the once-great empire of Akiri, known as Ahn'Qiraj. Currently, the area is uninhabited. The central temple is guarded by night elves who tried to prevent the spread of infection. Attempts to seal them behind the Wall of the Scarab were unsuccessful, and for millennia Silithid spread hives from Silithus to Feralas. Today, the Cenarion Circle maintains a permanent presence in Silithus in the Cenarion Fortress. From here, they watch the defeated hives of the enemy, which the elves crushed along with the Alliance and Horde during the opening of the gates of Ahn'Qiraj.
In Patch 1.12, world PvP was introduced in this territory. Researchers have discovered a new crystalline substance called Sililitist. The Horde and the Alliance have shown considerable interest in him. Players collect special dust where they can, but must be careful not to run into representatives of the enemy faction.
Geography
This huge desert is located at the southwestern end of Kalimdor. The rocky and sandy landscape is interrupted only by massive beetle hives. After the unsuccessful attempt of Sargeras to destroy Azeroth, most of the zone was destroyed. In the center is now just a big wound with a pond of blood from Azeroth.
Silithus is the site of two raids, the Ruins of Ahn'Qiraj and the Temple of Ahn'Qiraj. There are also several micro-dungeons. Although there are no battle fields in this area, there are some open PvP zones.
How to reach a location
Many players are interested in the question of how to quickly get to Silitus. For beginners, this problem has a non-obvious solution. The location can be reached on foot, heading to the northwest corner of Un'Goro Crater. There you can see a wide passage between the rocks. This is the right road.
Obviously, there is another way to get to Silithus. However, it will only open to a player who has already visited the camp of his faction in this location. As you might have guessed, an alternative method is flying along a route.
