A merchant from Novigrad told Geralt about a magician named Aeramas. This poor fellow, like many of his colleagues, met a terrible death at the stake. Without heirs, his vast country estate was abandoned - and if the rumors about this eccentric sorcerer were true, many rarities and valuable secrets are stored inside it ... So begins the quest in The Witcher 3 - Cheese and Dark Powers. It often causes difficulties in passing, so a clear instruction is needed for it.

Quest description

The quest in “The Witcher 3” - “Cheese and Dark Powers” ​​is secondary. First you need to complete the quest “To the Touch” - the player will definitely need the amulet “Eye of Nejeleni” that can reveal illusions. He will be given by the sorceress Keira.

• most preferred level: 9;
• the only monsters that the player will encounter are foglights. Read about them in bestiary;
• you will need an elixir "Cat" or a torch.

How to pass the quest?

1. Need to return to Novigrad. In the northern part of the city near the hairdresser there is a shop. The merchant will tell Geralt about the treasures of Aeramas Manor and sell his things (be sure to buy a lizard). After you need to return to the estate.
2. Geralt needs to search the estate with the help of a witch's flair. So the player will find the records of the sorcerer, as well as the drawing of the cat's armor. The next step is to explore the pentagram using the sorcerer's artifacts and open a portal.
3. Geralt arrives in a large cave filled with statues and cheese with an unbearable stench. These statues and cheeses together form a maze to go through. On the other side of the player’s cave, the next portal awaits.
4. This portal opens a new location of “Cheese and Dark Powers” ​​in “The Witcher 3”. This is a flooded cave. The path lies on land and under water, and in the end you will find yourself in the laboratory of the magician. Here you have to fight with several foglights. Exploring the laboratory, Geralt will find Aeramas notes and other useful things. Use the Keira amulet on the glowing wall: there are several chests behind it. Go through the new portal.
5. Geralt is in another cave. The shrine in the middle of the room is protected by a red energy shield that needs to be destroyed. Near the walls there are two small pyramids, to which you need to apply the sign of Igni. Be careful, one of them is hidden by an illusion.
6. When the shield is knocked down, Geralt will be able to get to the sanctuary, depicting a man and his dog. At the base of the temple lies a steel sword, which Geralt will call "Emmental."
7. The chest next to the statue contains the last item needed to activate the portal at the back of the room, leading back to Aeramas Manor. The Cheese and Dark Powers quest in The Witcher 3 is now complete.

If a player searches the ruined estate from top to bottom, he will find many interesting things. Among the diverse useless trinkets, Geralt will find treasures that Aeramas skillfully hid from the world.
