Lining

To this day, mankind has not come up with a better building material than wood - a natural, easy to use, which meets all the requirements of modernity. It creates a favorable and comfortable atmosphere in the room, perfectly retains heat and maintains air humidity, retains forest odors, perfectly reflects sound and is aesthetically very attractive.

Lining cladding compares favorably with other types of finishes. The microclimate created by natural materials is incomparable with that characteristic of synthetic plastic. The lining is easy to handle, it is convenient to hide cracks, wiring, unevenness of walls and ceilings under it. Wood sheathing is even more economical than finishing with many other materials β€” no preliminary wall preparation is required.

Lining is a breathable, dry material used for exterior and interior decoration. Lining cladding is carried out in the dry and warm season. When working inside in the winter, heating is required. Over time, this material will gain equilibrium humidity with the environment, and for many years it will delight with its warmth and vibrant shades.

Before starting work with the lining, it is recommended to leave it in the room at least for a day, so that it "gets used" to the microclimate. If the wall is even, then you can fasten the material directly to the wall using large construction brackets or screws. If the wall is not smooth enough or you need to perform insulation, then first we fill the supporting grid. Lattice bars should be perpendicular to the stuffed boards.

Lining on the ceiling and walls can be horizontal, vertical and diagonal. Horizontal layout is better in narrow rooms. This creates a visual illusion - the room seems lower and wider. The vertical arrangement of battens and panels visually increases the height and makes the room supposedly narrower.

The β€œdiagonal” cladding of the walls with the lining is much more complicated and more expensive for the material (it must be taken with a margin), but more interesting. For the device of the lattice, the extreme bars are fixed in level and plumb, and we tighten the assembly thread along them. Got a flat surface. It is better to start from the corner and the staff, then go forward behind the staff. It is better to fasten the lining with special nails with a small hat. Then the work looks neat, and the board does not crack. Nails hammered into the groove are almost invisible. You can also use a special bracket (kleimer) for fastening, then your room will look perfect.

The bars of the grating are fixed at a distance of 50 - 70 cm. The space formed between the grating and the wall can be used to insulate with mineral wool. Be sure to waterproof. To do this, a hydroprotective film is attached over the grate and mineral wool with a stapler. It prevents the penetration of moisture and prevents decay.

It is important to put it right. The film is smooth on one side and has a rough structure on the other. The smooth side of the film should be facing the insulation, and the rough side should be facing the printed boards. The lining is covered with a protective layer. Use for this alkyd or environmentally friendly water-borne varnish, as well as other protective compounds.

After processing, the surface can be matte or glossy. The lining treated with protective compounds retains its color after 10 years. It withstands both cold and heat well. However, it requires care. It is better to remove dirt from it with a damp cloth. Washing is not recommended, yet wood. Even stubborn stains can be removed with a solvent. To ensure that the surface always looks attractive, periodically update the coating.

Cladding balconies with clapboard is today one of the best options from an environmental point of view. In addition, a clapboard-lined balcony creates a unique atmosphere of warmth and coziness. It looks great, and a high-end lining makes it also prestigious. You will have a peaceful, comfortable, almost forest corner for relaxation right in the city.

Wooden lining is a classic version, not subject to aging. In addition, she is not afraid of mechanical damage (unlike plastic).
