Alpha special forces major Dmitry Barton and his entire group, which colleagues jokingly call the "magnificent six," receive a strange task: to find out what mysterious object it penetrated into the most guarded building of the Government of the Russian Federation, whether it poses a threat to people. In addition, they must keep him under surveillance around the clock. The first contact with the object almost ended in death for the major. When the light was lit in the hall, everyone saw a terrible sight, from which blood froze in the veins: in front of those present there was a human body without skin, with bare ribs and a chest through which internal organs were visible. The face was a bloody mess, and something like a turban was put on his head. But at the same time, the object stood and showed signs of life, preventing people from coming closer. To observe a strange creature, a researcher of paranormal phenomena, Professor Zaitsev, was invited. Very soon, he determined that the tissue of the object was starting to regenerate and that he was a girl.
And the creature begins to recognize the people around it by the color of its auras. Especially attracted to the girl is Multicolored, as she called Dmitry Burton. Gradually, her memory returns. First, she remembered her stay in Antalar - a world that exists in parallel with the human. She remembered how she was able, having overcome the prohibitions and the terrible force of pressure, to maintain her physical body in the etheric world, how she managed to escape from the Return Tunnel, from which she could not leave alive. After some time, contact arises between her and the people who are watching her. She begins to communicate with them, and then helps: she saves Vlad’s father and sister, with the help of her wonderful hair heals Igor Nikitka, the terminally ill son, and takes Dmitry from the bottom of the river. She says her name is Rangoli, which means Rainbow. At some point, she recalls her life in the world of people: her name is Valentina, she works at Sberbank, lives in Yekaterinburg. Then comes the memory of the disease, of pain, of 13 operations carried out, of a terrible diagnosis, which sounds like a verdict, of an eternal struggle with fate. But she is ready to fight, she is waiting for her return home.
