With the release of the Cataclysm add-on in the main game, a lot of changes have occurred, one of which is an update in professions. A new activity for users has become archeology. In the Legion of the Second World War, this is an auxiliary, not the main profession.

The main goal of archaeological excavations lies in the banal "killing of free time." This profession is especially useful for those users who often complain that they have nothing to do between the main raids, underground research and more. Archeology at WWII is a great way to spend free hours on something really interesting, such as collecting unique artifacts.
If other professions involve receiving some special bonuses, then in the case of this lesson, the user does not earn any additional rewards. If the character is a twinkle, then the profession may be completely useless.
What gives archeology in the Second World War? The main task is to visit various locations and conduct appropriate excavations. During these classes, the hero receives unknown fragments, from which later full-fledged artifacts are added. It is almost impossible to predict the find - everything is built on luck.
Archeology "WWII" boasts different levels of skill. With each high leveling, the character not only discovers new locations for excavation, but also increases the chance of getting the best artifact.
What is the best place to start?
Before proceeding with the excavation, you need to make sure that the character has the ability to teleport between different locations. This is done in order to greatly simplify the movement, as archeology requires great mobility. If the chosen hero is a magician, then everything is very simple - an open portal will take care of all the difficulties associated with teleportation. Mastering this profession will go much faster if the character has previously pumped a flying skill.
Coaches are scattered across all major cities of WoW. You can find them both independently and by contacting any of the local guards for help.
After accepting the profession, you need to move it to the panel and click on the "Research" icon. After that, the player’s map will receive new marks that will indicate the location of the alleged excavation. Accessible territory usually takes a round or oval shape. On each continent there are four places where you can go to excavate. After the "depletion" of one site, access to the next opens.
The process itself
After the user reaches the point of excavation, the next step is to activate the "Explore" button. After that, a research apparatus designed to search for valuable objects will appear near the hero. Using a special sensor, you can calculate the distance at which this or that artifact is located. The player, in turn, will have to deal with color clues:
- Red mark - the artifact is located at a distance farther from the character.
- Yellow mark - the hero is not far from the target.
- Green mark - the artifact is located nearby.
Archeology in “WWII” is interesting by finds, but this requires the player to constantly move and move. To achieve a good result in the pursuit of artifacts and other valuable objects is possible only through a thorough study of the entire territory.
The research apparatus always indicates the right direction in which to conduct searches. If the coordinates lie somewhere in the mountains, this can be problematic, since such a terrain does not have great convenience for excavations. To solve this problem, many guides on archeology of the Second World War recommend moving the device a little to the side and using another route. Any area is allowed to process up to three times. Thus, the player can not only get more artifacts, but also earn extra experience points.

In this case, we can advise you first to pay attention to the search for parts of artifacts, and not their assembly. Such tactics will greatly succeed in the process of pumping archeology.
The transition from one level to another is carried out by simple movement between the continents. Once the skill level reaches 300 points, the character can be in Outland, 375 in Northrend, 450 in Uldum, and so on.
General item information
By going to the "Archeology" section, you can learn a lot about the collected parts and artifacts. All items are divided into two groups:
- gray - cheap and useless artifacts;
- rare - the name of the group speaks for itself, among such artifacts you can find mounts, pets, epics and other amazing objects.
The price for assembling artifacts from the gray group is much lower than from the rare one. In this case, we are talking about the number of necessary parts.
The key to success in the archeology of the Second World War
Excavations are best entrusted to a race of dwarves that become available during wagering for the Alliance. An important role is played by their racial bonus, called the "Explorer". Together with him, the character can increase his archaeological skill by fifteen points, this opportunity is absent from representatives of other factions, which makes them less capable of this profession.
The total number of satellites, mounts and achievements obtained during the excavation refers to one user account. That is why pumping is best entrusted to a dwarf, whose racial bonus will give more opportunities.
Available jobs for this profession
In order to diversify the routine of self-pumping archeology, the developers came up with additional missions. They are issued once for each character, and the interval between the next receipt reaches two weeks. It is worth saying that it accepts only those users whose level of pumping has reached 110 points. The meaning of the missions is a long excavation, after which you can become the owner of a rather rare item.

Archeology allows you to discover several unique achievements added to the game specifically for the new profession. Among them can be noted "Dirty work", "All your cracks", "Sifting sand" and, of course, the final "Digger".
Impeccable artifacts also have a number of their own achievements, for example, "Not the Guardian of the Legion" or "Do not turn over."

Along with the release of The Mists of Pandaria, archeology in WWII has changed a bit.
