We take the length of the opening, which we can take into account in the formula, equal to 350 cm. Now we determine the number of steps: K = 320/16 = 20.

For this we use the school formula of Pythagoras. We have two numbers, it remains to determine the inclined. The next step helps calculate the width of the steps. According to our data, we have 25 cm. We check the results using formulas that ensure safety and convenience. The results obtained do not fit into these formulas, which means that it is necessary to change them in order to comply with all requirements. This will be the size of the riser, equal to 18 cm.

K = 320/18 = 18 - 1 = 17 steps.

L = 475/17 = 28 cm.

28 + 18 = 46 cm.

28 -18 = 10 cm.
