Pear Uralochka description

When buying a seedling, you should pay attention to its roots and trunk. There should be no rot on the roots, and no damage on the trunk.

A pit of about 70 by 70 cm and one meter deep is prepared. In the center of the pit, a peg is installed to support the tree. The soil from the pit is mixed with compost, peat or manure, as well as fertilizers:

  • superphosphate;
  • lime;
  • potassium chloride.

The resulting soil mixture is poured into the pit with seedlings, the soil is compacted. The earth is watered with 2-3 buckets of water. The trunk circle is mulched with humus or peat.

Care

Pear care is required at any time of the year.

In spring, the soil around the tree is loosened, nitrogen fertilizers are added, the damaged branches are cut, they are treated for pests and diseases.

In summer, the pear must be watered, if necessary, thin out the crown.

In the fall, the care measures are the same as in the spring. The only difference is that they are fertilized with phosphorus-potassium compounds and the mushrooms are whitened with lime. Trunk circles require shallow digging and mulching with peat or sawdust.

Gardeners are advised to process the Uralochka pear from diseases and pests as prevention. Some treatments coincide with fertilizer application. For example, spring application of urea will help eliminate nitrogen deficiency and destroy pests.

If the kidneys are already opening, the urea is changed to ready-made formulations (Fitoverma, Akarina, Iskra-bio).
