Plants, insects and animal meadows

Each time you come to admire the meadow, the same thoughts and desires visit. Regardless of age, the desire is always the same - to scatter well and take off to look at the magical multi-colored carpet from a bird's eye view. The vastness, multicolor, all sorts of unusual smells of young grass and pollen and birdsong are sweet to the heart of any person, it is cozy and calm here.

The meadow is different, but it is not only a valuable storehouse of medicinal herbs; small and large animal meadows, which consider this wonderful space to be their territory, build their houses in it. This habitat habitual for them is full of secrets and mysteries. Many of them have yet to be known to man.

Animal meadows are about thirty different species and they all live quietly, almost imperceptibly for people, but their community is strictly ordered and very interesting. Here for everyone there is a cozy mink or in the thickets a completely invisible bird's nest. And it can be just a leaf or a notch in a small log, where a family of insects lives with pleasure.

There are also insects that not everyone knows about, for example: a gray grasshopper, a striped nutcracker, an ordinary dung beetle, a burial grave, an earthen flea, a cabbage, a swallowtail, a meadow moth, a gamma scoop, a hairy bee, an ordinary bee, and others.

Animal meadows are diverse and unique; here rodents, as well as amphibians, coexist for many years in a row.

Take a close look, for sure one of the first you will notice a moving lizard, it is almost not afraid of us, itโ€™s very fast. A frog can also show off. She is not so beautiful to pick her up, but she does not know about it and simply ignores us. A night hunter mouse sits in a mink and waits for its evening triumphal exit.

There are animal meadows that you probably heard about. Moles live here in large numbers, which are the most real carnivores. They love to feast on insect larvae and worms. Rodents always stay with them, as they often use the moves of hardworking moles for their hunt. Having passed through the meadow, you will definitely pay attention to the hills, which resemble small-sized volcanoes. This is the first sign that aft tunnels are located here, which in turn intersect with deeper tunnels intended for rest. Do not forget that the mole is a true master, a dungeon builder.

In the neighborhood you can meet a gopher, or rather his family, because they live in colonies in their own minks. They have a special habit, when approaching the enemy, take an awesome stance "column" and scare the enemy off with a loud whistle. Gophers belong to day animals. They are rather shy and rarely move away from their holes, feeling a constant threat. Watching them is a pleasure! They tried to tame them, but bondage is unusual for them and they do not feel comfortable being under the close attention of a person.

Plants and animal meadows organically exist together, help each other survive. Forbs of meadows are represented by many species, such as: meadow cornflower, meadow geranium, adonis and quagmire, melilot, lamb, alfalfa, rank, bonfire and fescue, fragrant spikelet and wheatgrass, land reed and many others.

Plants and animal meadows delight with their unpredictability and special charm. For example, if you meet mouse peas in a meadow , the fragrant aroma of this plant will certainly remind you of a happy and serene childhood, and a lizard or mouse flashed in the grass will make you remember that in nature there are not only giants, but also defenseless small individuals. Interestingly, the mouse peas on the roots have special โ€œapartmentsโ€ for useful microbes, they fertilize the soil and nourish other plants. The combination of beauty and benefit is perfect, but in nature everything is arranged that way!
