The 2015 game, called The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, features many colorful characters, including the sorceress Yennifer from Wengerberg. A detailed description of the character and an alternative image of Yennifer in the game will be presented below.
Acquaintance with the character in the third part
The decision of the developers not to include Yennifer in the characters of the first two parts is justified by the fact that they were afraid of the character's incorrect visualization. And now the time has come for the third part, when the eminent heroine can be seen not only in the cinematic video, but also in the prologue.
Geralt has a dream about serene everyday life in the Caer Morchen castle, where he quietly relaxes in the bathroom, and the beautiful Yennifer walks nearby. During this prologue, the player begins to develop the initial impression that the entire wizard’s wardrobe consists only of black and white, and the fragrance of her perfume is permeated with notes of lilac and gooseberry.
Then they already meet in the White Garden, where her cold prudence and ironic remarks can push the player away from this character. Although the book presented an alternative image of Yennifer, where she was more complacent and amiable, and in the game she was deprived of these qualities.
After the meeting in the White Garden, the sorceress disappears so long that the next time they and Geralt will meet only after completing more than half of the story, that is, on Skelig.
All this time the sorceress was dressed only in black and white clothes, so the idea of developers to introduce an alternative image of Yennifer through the addition was an excellent solution.
Description of the canonical outfit
Before proceeding to describe the alternative image of Yennifer, you must first consider her original costume, so that there is nothing to compare.
In the prologue you can see only her underwear, which consists of two parts in black. Yennifer cares about himself, so he adheres to the basic rules of his own authorship - to dress only in black and white, and from jewelry he prefers exclusively silver.
In the White Garden, one can already see the full vestments of the sorceress, which is strikingly different from the alternative image of Yennifer. Her outfit consists of high leather boots, reaching to the middle of the thigh, black trousers, a white blouse and a black jacket. Black gloves are on her hands.
The only change in outfit will be seen only at the reception on Skelig, where she changed her trousers to a long skirt.
New addition "The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt"
This add-on is free and gives players the opportunity to change the outfits of the main characters. One of the innovations is the new costume for Yennifer.
The new appearance radically changes the outfit of the sorceress, as well as her hairstyle. Her hair became thicker and more voluminous. A scarf hangs on her neck, which she sometimes uses as a hood. Her overcoat does not reach her shoulders and is framed by feathers. A quilted corset surrounds her waist, and instead of trousers - a kind of skirt. On the legs of the sorceress flaunt lower boots that open lace stockings. The only thing that has remained unchanged is the medallion in the form of a star on the neck.
