Day of television and radio in Russia

News from the world of politics, announcements of interesting events, changes in the life of stars - people usually learn all this from the media. Radio and television are the most effective and informative media. At first glance, it seems that work in this area is very easy and simple. In fact, television and radio workers work tirelessly for days, they are in constant tension so as not to make a mistake on the air and retake the failed frame hundreds of times. To support and pay tribute to this area, Radio, Television and Communications Day was introduced in Russia.

Significant date

May 7 is the day of radio and television. This date was not chosen by chance. It was on May 7, 1895, that the famous physicist Alexander Popov demonstrated to members of the physicochemical society the process of wireless registration at a distance of electromagnetic waves by the action of a lightning discharge on the simplest receiver that he assembled. Before the Day of Television and Radio began to be celebrated annually, it was first celebrated in 1925 on the territory of the USSR.
