In appearance, the Knauf super sheets are very similar to drywall sheets, as they are a rectangular facing plate made of a gypsum base, to which additives are added. Material Description

Two types of plates are available:

1. With a straight edge. (PC). Intended material for the manufacture of flooring.
2. With fold edge (FC). From canvases of this type, piers and partitions are arranged, walls are leveled to them.

The plates differ in size: 250x120x1.0 cm (weight 1 m2 - about 1.08 kg) and 250x120x1.25 cm (weight 1 m2 - about 1.25 kg). The package may contain 40 or 50 sheets. Flooring technology

Knauf gypsum fiber sheet of medium size can be laid on a concrete screed if a good ventilation system is installed in the room. Plates of large sizes are laid on a surface made of wood or reinforced concrete.

Due to the fact that the material is characterized by high soundproofing properties and ease of installation, often the owners of apartments and houses themselves undertake the installation of sound-absorbing partitions and improve the sound insulation of external walls. To get perfect noise protection, the plates are mounted not in one layer, but in two.

Given the technical characteristics of GVLV, the use of sheets is possible both in heated and cold rooms for any purpose, including garages, attics, basements, warehouses and places where the fire hazard level is quite high. Suitable material for use in rooms with a high level of humidity - bathrooms, kitchens, basements.

There are several important rules, compliance with which is extremely important when creating partitions:

1. Choosing the location of the structure. First, mark the location of the line on the floor surface, taking into account the direction of the wall. Then the lines are duplicated to the ceiling using a plumb line.
2. The right choice and installation of profiles. They must not come into contact with the surfaces of walls and floors to ensure sound insulation. To do this, lay elastic material under the profiles.
3. Preparation and installation of racks. They should be of such a length that freely enter the space allotted for them.
4. Connection of racks and guides.
5. Strengthening the openings in the wall with more rigid profile elements.
6. Installation of electrical wiring and embedded parts in the inner part of the frame.
7. Superlist preparation "Knauf". They are marked and cut off too much.
8. Installation of sheets. They are fastened with special screws on both sides of the frame. If necessary, a heater is installed between the sheets.

2. Before work, GVLV should be acclimatized in the room. To do this, they are entered in advance, a few hours before the start of work.
