He often dreamed a dream in which he saw a beautiful knight's castle standing on a hill. And when he grew up, it was time to realize childhood dreams - to build a Galkin castle. The artist in an interview told reporters that the place for the future building was found almost by accident. Just once, he saw in reality a hill that looked exactly like the one from his childhood dreams. I saw and understood exactly where to build the walls of my fabulous fortress.
Village "Mud"
The place that Maxim found was so beautiful and picturesque that he was not even scared off by the name of the local village "Dirt". Now this village has become famous. As soon as they start talking about Galkin’s castle, her name is immediately mentioned. But until recently, no one had ever heard what kind of "Dirt" such in the world is.
The village with an inconsistent name is located 5 km from Zvenigorod. By the way, in the past its name was somewhat different - “Upper Mud”, and some even claim that “Black Mud”. Maxim Galkin's castle began to be built in the mid-2000s. Rumor has it that once upon a time there stood an old landowner estate. But with their own eyes none of the local residents saw her, since she had already collapsed a long time ago. First, Maxim bought a plot of land he liked, and then he began to buy neighboring ones.
The construction took 7 years. Given the enormous size of the Galkin-Pugachev estate (3 thousand square meters), the period is very short!
