Lands of human settlements: concept and composition

In the Russian Federation, the following types of land ownership exist.

Moreover, there is practically no difference between the two categories. The only difference is that if you want to register in a house built on the land of private household plots, you will have to act through the court.

The use of land falling under the land category of settlements is also regulated by law. For example, the construction of garages, sheds, pantries, etc., is not allowed on the lands of settlement and city buildings. in the event that they in any way infringe on the interests of people living nearby. Lands that are in common use (squares, streets, parks, forest parks, etc.) are under the jurisdiction of the city or village administration. However, sometimes they can be transferred on a rental basis for temporary use by legal entities. The only exceptions are roads and aryky network.
