But at the same time, they play a rather important role in comics - they are on the good side, that is, they collaborate with Autobots and appear in a large number of issues. But who are these glorious dinobots? Transformers is a project whose authors never skimp on high-quality characters, and a group of dinosaur robots has also been worked out very carefully.
Grimlock
Dinobots are not very common transformers, so you can rarely see them in comics, cartoons and computer games. However, all of them are very vividly remembered by the fans. Naturally, it’s worth starting with Grimlock, a robot that can take the form of a tyrannosaurus. He is the leader of the dinobots. Unlike the extremely valiant Optimus Prime, Grimlock has a more “human” character - he is characterized by arrogance and obstinacy, he often behaves arbitrarily, but still remains on the side of good. Among all the dinobots, he is the most powerful, strong and smart, so he leads them along. He is armed with a huge sword, as well as a powerful double-barreled rocket launcher. However, the Grimlock is not all dinobots, dinosaur transformers are others.
Slag
Please note that dinobots periodically get into various games. Dinobots transformers are quite popular among fans, but still little known among the total mass of players. The slag is the second dinobot that you should talk about as soon as possible, because it is the right hand and Grimlock’s deputy. This character is extremely vicious - so much so that he is considered the most unpleasant among all the positive transformers. However, for all his meanness and abomination, he is an extremely brave hero, ready to fight to the last. And in the absence of Grimlock (for example, as in the series "Transformers: Dinobots-Rescuers"), the Slag, which will be converted into a Triceratops, is replaced by him as the leader of the group. This hero is armed with a laser rifle.
Sludge
This character has been repeatedly recognized as the most stupid and shortsighted not only among dinobots, but also among all the transformers of the bright side. He uses only brute force, does not understand what tactics are, because all he wants to do is trample the enemy, crush him with his feet. It turns into a brontosa tomorrow, and in the form of a robot is armed with a beam pistol. Often he expresses dissatisfaction with the fact that the most important robot among the whole army of good is Optimus Prime - most likely, because Prime does not consider brutal violence as the only strategy that Sladge would really like. However, at the same time, he nevertheless bravely does his duty, not giving personal preferences to prevail over the situation.
Snarl
This robot, which turns into a stegosaurus, is the epitome of calm and melancholy. He is always not in the best mood, and his mood rises only in battle. It has quite impressive weapons - in addition to the sword, it also uses a beam rifle. Usually likes to travel separately from everyone, hates when he is worried about something other than business, which makes him a pretty outstanding transformer compared to the rest.
Swoop
Swoop is the only flying dinobot, as it turns into pteranodon - thanks to this, it is also the fastest in its team. This robot is a real daredevil, because it rushes into any battle instantly, loves to intimidate its opponents using air-to-air missiles while in dinosaur mode, and a sword when it is transformed into a robot.
