Below we will figure out how to make a spear in The Forest - without it, going out on night walks or attacking other people's camps is not recommended!
Weapon description
First, let's dwell on the characteristics of the subject. The spear is the very first combat weapon that can be crafted or found in this game. If you do not want to create it manually, then look at the nearest beach - several copies should lie around the water.
You can use the spear in two modes - melee and throwing. As practice shows, this item is best manifested in contact brawl. If we are talking about a battle against several Aborigines, then it is better to use an ax. It is also difficult to use a spear against moving targets - it can simply fly off to the side and you will be left without a weapon.
You can upgrade the spear in The Forest and increase its power. This item already poses a serious threat to enemies. It can also be used as a working tool, for example, for fishing.
Crafting order
To get ordinary throwing weapons, you can collect one wooden stick and one sharp stone. After you need to go to the crafting menu with the E key and connect these two items.
Improved weapons have a slightly modified “recipe”: 3 rag units 3 bones and a regular spear. You can make any item in The Forest through the menu by pressing the E key. The throwing spear can also be improved by another method. For example, add a feather and resin, so that when flying the projectile flew more accurately and faster. By adding animal teeth, you can increase enemy damage.
