Vibration pump: advantages and disadvantages

Currently, water supply in plots or in country houses is not a problem. If earlier the solution was wells, buckets and the like, today rural residents and summer residents use a submersible vibration pump for domestic use. In the absence of a centralized water supply, this is a sure way to solve the problem of providing premises with water. The vibrating pump consumes little electricity and has an affordable cost.

It is quite compact and easy to use. We can say that such a pump consists of three parts, namely: housing, electromagnet and vibrator. The case contains all the components, and most often it is made of anti-corrosion materials, so it has good strength and tightness. The electromagnet is a core connected in series with each other and two coils of copper wire with high magnetic permeability. Namely, with the help of a vibrator, which is specially separated by a rubber membrane from the electrical part, water is pumped. It includes a shock absorber and a pressed rod.

The vibration pump does not have rubbing and rotating parts that require lubrication, as it uses valve vibrations, therefore the weight has a corresponding weight of no more than 5 kg.

The main condition for the operation of the vibration pump is its complete immersion in water and the presence of water in it, since water provides cooling of the pump, which is necessary due to the high frequency of vibration. The absence of it can lead to failure. It is worth paying attention to the power cable and the cable with which the pump is immersed in water. Usually, when sold, a kapron cable is included in the kit to avoid breakdown of the insulation of the wiring.

It is worth talking about the advantages and disadvantages that a vibration pump has. Its positive qualities include a simple device, rare breakdowns, compactness and reliability. For example, the vibration pump "Kid" can work for a long time without fail in any extreme situations. Efficiency and durability make such a pump an indispensable assistant in providing water to any room in the absence of a centralized water supply. However, there are a number of disadvantages. For example, if the well is not strengthened, over time, the constant vibration of the pump can simply destroy it. In addition, for full work, he needs a little rest, otherwise, with continuous work, he may fail. The depth of immersion, unfortunately, is also small - only 3 meters.

Having studied the principle of operation, the advantages and disadvantages that a vibration pump has, you can safely proceed to the selection of a model. But pay attention to technical specifications, including the type of valve placement. They are of two types: upper and lower water intakes, in which the valve is located above or below, respectively. Given the fact that the lower fence is not as practical as the upper, due to the fact that the pump burrows into the ground, as a result of vibrations and the valve clogs faster. In addition, the top valve does not overheat due to constant cooling with water.

Knowing all the characteristics and capabilities, choosing the right option is not a big deal.
