Victoria Butenko has been a raw foodist since 1994. Despite the fact that this type of nutrition helped solve many health problems, seven years later, Victoria and her family members felt worse. These people, having difficulty getting out of bed in the morning, already after three and a half months participated in a 10-kilometer race.

Butenko decided to study the diet of chimpanzees, because the genotype of these animals is 99.4% the same as ours, and they are actively used in medical research. It turned out that from 40 to 50% of their diet are plant leaves. Another 50% is fruit. Seeds, nuts, insects, bark, chimpanzee vegetables are eaten little and rarely - during a drought or under adverse conditions.

Victoria understood how important greens are for life, but the body refused to take it, nausea and heartburn immediately appeared. Studying specialized literature, Butenko learned that in order to get that huge amount of nutrients that are contained in plants, it is necessary to destroy the walls of their cells. This is possible only if you carefully chew the leaves to a state of gruel. Victoria decided that she could not do it, so she chopped a bunch of greens in a blender, adding a little water. The problem was that the greens even in this form caused nausea. Then Victoria added banana to the resulting mass. To her surprise, the mixture smelled very good and tasted amazing. The sweetness of the banana interrupted the bitter taste of greens, but the drink was not sugary. Butenko began to experiment with cocktail formulations.

Previously, when Victoria felt tired, she was invariably drawn to heavy and fatty, albeit raw-eating, food (for example, dishes made from nuts and seeds). This craving passed by itself, without any volitional effort. There was no longer a desire to salt salads, season them with oil.
