When choosing a trimmer for power, you need to focus on the density of grass that you plan to mow. The higher and denser the growing weed grass, the more powerful the garden trimmer is needed. They come with a fishing line and a metal knife. If most of the work with the gasoline option is next to shrubs, trees and stones, then it is better to choose a garden trimmer with a cutting line. If there are no stones, and shrubs and trees are few in number, then it is better to give preference to models with a metal knife in the cutting head.
Electric trimmers do not make a loud noise, but compared with gasoline. They are environmentally friendly. These trimmers are easy to operate, they are launched into operation with the click of a button. There are inconveniences: the engine needs power, an extension cord is needed, you must constantly monitor the power cord so as not to damage it. In addition, they cope worse with weeds that have thick stems.
Battery trimmers have built-in rechargeable batteries. You can work with them anywhere, there is no connection to power supply. But they are not able to work for long, 20-30 minutes a day. The remaining time is spent recharging the batteries. Such devices are heavy, low-power, capricious in operation and storage.
Gas trimmers are very noisy, create a strong vibration, which is unpleasant for the worker. But they have the highest performance compared to others. One refueling with a gas trimmer is enough for 40-45 minutes of work.
When choosing a garden trimmer, give preference to a more powerful and fast acceleration. With the same power, take the one that weighs less. It is desirable that there is a vibration absorption system.
