The light tunnel was not the only decoration of the capital. The first Moscow international festival “Christmas Light” was held in 2016 from December 18 to January 10. Bright installations and unusual lighting designs appeared on 20 sites: at the fairs of the Expedition to Christmas festival and pedestrian streets.

In total, the city was decorated with about 20 art objects and 10 significant installations. At the same time, light geography was not limited to the center of the capital: Christmas and New Year art objects appeared in Zelenograd (Youth Square), in the Eastern Administrative Okrug (Semenovsky Square) and the Northern Administrative Okrug (Khachaturian Street).

Also, in the framework of the festival, 17 two-meter chandeliers appeared over Stoleshnikov Lane, and luminous balls were placed on Poklonnaya Hill, onto which a picture was projected, creating the effect of an enchanting shadow theater.

How to get to the light tunnel on Tversky Boulevard by metro? It is known that Tverskaya Street runs northeast from Bolshaya Nikitskaya to Pushkin Square.
