Submersible pumps for individual water supply

Water is the basis of life. Therefore, everyone seeks to have water supply, sewage, heating on his site, in the house or in his own production. And it is good if the work of all these communications is constant and uninterrupted. This is especially true of water supply. Fortunately, today there is practically no problem with drilling a well in its summer cottage or near a country house and pumping water out of it using a pump.

Deep pumps
It is economically more expedient to organize water supply from wells, than to arrange a water supply in another way. And surface pumps can only be used with a sufficiently high water level. Therefore, deep pumps, despite their relatively high cost, are very popular. All of them are multi-stage, which helps them to raise water from a sufficiently large depth (sometimes up to 300 m). Thanks to this, they got their name. In addition, deep well pumps have a high head. But at the same time they cannot be lowered too deep into the water. The maximum permissible immersion depth for them is 20 m. If you lower the pump deeper, the insulation may not withstand it. Also, such pumps are easy to install, they are compact and quiet. Among the shortcomings can be called a high degree of complexity of service.

Well Pumps
Deep pumps are presented in a large assortment and are available under various brands, for example, Grundfos, Pedrollo, Needle, Sprut, ZDC, Pumps +, etc. All of them can maintain operating efficiency in difficult conditions and provide the house or plot with water even from the deepest wells. There are vortex, centrifugal and screw pumps: vortex pumps are intended only for clean water, for liquids with a high content of impurities, it is worth using more expensive centrifugal or screw pumps. Well pumps can be of well type or directly submersible. By appointment, deep pumps are for wells, wells, as well as drainage and fecal pumps.

Well pumps are uniquely arranged. Water is drawn from the middle, the pumping part is at the top, and the engine, which works constantly and in very harsh conditions, is located at the bottom. Thanks to this, its constant and effective cooling is carried out by a stream of water passing between the wall of the well and the pump. And the smaller this distance, the greater the speed of water movement and, accordingly, better cooling. Typically, documentation indicates what maximum diameter a well may be (pumps for wells with diameters up to 3 inches are not available). If the actual diameter of the well exceeds the permissible value, the pump is fixed in the casing and lowered together with it.

Deep pumps
The same principle applies to the use of deep pumps in wells and open water. Most of them can be installed in a horizontal position, but you need to make sure that the possibility is indicated in the documentation.

Recently, the presence of abrasive inclusions in water has become a common problem, because of which deep pumps can quickly fail. Even if the well is equipped with a high-quality filter, still part of the sand enters the water, and because of this, the impellers wear out faster. Therefore, modern pump models have a wear-resistant coating and a floating suspension on wheels.
