Closest to St. Petersburg are the Kavgolovskoe and Kurgolovskoye lakes. Initially, it was one whole lake, but railway workers paved the way through it, dividing the lake in bulk by two. You can get here without a car, by subway. From the Devyatkino station to the beach is only 15 minutes walk. On the Kavgolovskoye lake, they relax quietly with children, as the depth from the shore leaves slowly.
