Sports Palace Jubilee (Tver) was opened in 1983. Until then, the only significant sports facility in the city was the Chemist football stadium.

At the Sports Palace, members of the TCK club began to engage. A school of hockey and figure skating has opened. Concerts of pop stars were held here, because the capacity of the Sports Palace “Yubileiny” (Tver) is about 2,000 spectators.
During the years of perestroika, the building was in disrepair. Matches with the participation of the local hockey team, several children's sections, a few fairs - events held in the sports complex. Like the whole country, Yubileiny was in crisis. There was not enough money to finance and properly maintain the entire territory.
But times have changed. Funds began to be allocated for the development of sports, and the population began to live better financially. The country began to tidy up existing sports arenas and venues. In the late nineties, the second part of the "Jubilee" was opened, because people who wanted to play sports became crowded in the former squares.
Modern Sports Palace
Today the Sports Palace "Jubilee" (Tver) covers an area of 60,000 m². Of these, 23,000 m² are reserved for rooms for administrators, coaches, guests, as well as locker rooms, showers, etc.
At the moment, the sports complex has two ice arenas. The main one is equipped with stands for two thousand people with an area of 1713 m². Hockey and skater training sessions are held here, as well as major events: hockey matches, figure skating championships, mass ice skating.
The second arena, which began work in 2008, occupies less space, has balconies for spectators and is mostly used as a training one.
Sports complex "Jubilee" has rooms for fitness, choreography and a gym. In addition to the athletes involved here, everyone can attend them for a fee.
There is also a games room in the complex. Volleyball and basketball players train here. The hall is equipped with stands for 350 spectators and competitions are held for the named sports games.
Not so long ago, martial arts facilities were put into operation, which allowed to increase the number of people involved in sports.

Sports Palace "Jubilee" (Tver) is a training ground for DYUSSHOR in hockey, DYUSSHOR in figure skating, ice-skating, short track, football, athletics, volleyball, and basketball. The total number of people engaged in ice arenas is approximately 1,200 people.
In addition to sports sections, there are health groups in volleyball, table tennis, general physical training.
Competitions
Sports complex "Jubilee" repeatedly organizes the championships and national championships, international competitions in hockey, figure skating, Greco-Roman wrestling, judo, karate, boxing, acrobatics.
