There is such a harsh Ural city, it is called Chelyabinsk. It is the capital of the southern Urals. The largest center of heavy industry and in general is the "supporting edge of the state." It is difficult to imagine a place no longer suitable for a pleasant pastime than the harsh labor of Chelyabinsk. The project carried out here turned out to be even brighter and more unusual. Many asked such a skeptical question: “Water park? In Chelyabinsk ?! What kind of nonsense ?! Chelyabinsk is not a resort place” There were great doubts about the financial feasibility of such a project, as well as its profitability. But doubts are left behind, the water park in Chelyabinsk has been created and is being successfully operated. The water attraction center was created on the basis of the Voskhod sports complex of the Chelyabinsk tube rolling plant. In fact, the water park in Chelyabinsk represents a radical reconstruction of a large swimming pool that already existed at the sports complex. This decision allowed to save significant financial investments in capital construction and launch the water park in commercial operation as soon as possible.
Constructively
The water park in Chelyabinsk consists of three large slides, very rationally arranged into a wide span of the Voskhod swimming pool. The third slide is not yet ready - it is in the design stage. A feature of the layout is the use of only one lane of the pool for water rides. The remaining five tracks remain practically unused, so if necessary, swimming competitions can be held there.
The current slides have their own names - "Big Toboggan" and "Kamikaze." Length, respectively, 45 and 25 meters. The distance from the top point to the water level exceeds five meters. Slides are large diameter fiberglass pipes with a polyurethane coating. To date, this material is recognized as optimal for this kind of design. The positive aspects of the arrangement of the Chelyabinsk water park should include its installation in an existing building, the reliability of which is beyond doubt. Everyone still has a fresh memory of the tragedy of the Moscow Transvaal Park, erected according to a pretentious architectural design, acceptable for use in countries where no one has seen what the snow looks like. In Chelyabinsk, this is simply excluded. This is a well-designed concrete roof. This allows us not to recall the sad fate of Transvaal, heading to the water park in Chelyabinsk. How the water park works
At the same time there can be 45 people. Chelyabinsk water park is designed for people of medium and low income. The entrance ticket costs 100 rubles, plus 70 rubles for each subsequent 45 minutes of stay in the pool and the use of water attractions. Such a low price level is quite acceptable for not-so-wealthy Chelyabinsk citizens, and for children. Qualified instructors work with visitors.
