A familiar situation: you bought a brand new phone, insert your SIM card into it, check the contacts folder and find nothing in it. Do not panic. Indeed, almost any problem always has a solution.

So, we know that our favorite iPhones of different brands and models have a common problem - transferring contact information from and to the device. Therefore, the first and most elementary way
how to copy contacts from iPhone, if, of course, you do not want to rewrite them manually, is to drop the numbers onto a computer. Everything is simple here. The phone is connected to the computer via a USB cable, the corresponding mode is selected in the
dialog box of the mobile phone. Already through the computer, you view the contents of the folders of your phone, find the one with contacts. On the computer’s desktop, create a folder and transfer the necessary information about the numbers of your friends, acquaintances, etc. by copying / pasting there. A passing remark! If necessary, the reverse process, i.e. transferring the database from the SIM card to the phone’s memory, proceed as follows:
- in the general menu, select the “Settings” folder;

It happens that the phone requires a flashing. It is made in specialized service centers. True, many advanced users of iPhones are able to do the whole process on their own. We will not go into the intricacies of reinstalling the system on the phone and all of its parameters now, we will only touch on how to copy contacts from the iPhone in this case:
- iTunes utility starts. By pressing the Shift key, we set the “restore” parameter. At the same time, the firmware that was downloaded earlier is selected;
- when the installation of the new OS and software is completed, we return to our “phone book”. We open the Cydia application. Through it we find another utility we need - “SIManager”. Install it on the phone and open it;
- the next step on how to copy contacts from the iPhone is to click on “Setup” in the utility that opens. We move the slider to “Fast read”, select the way of arranging the recording of our contacts: first, last name, then first name or vice versa. And click on the “Save” option;
- Then again exit to the main menu. There we find the option “Save to SIM card” (“Read from SIM”). At this point, you should wait a bit until the application can connect to the mobile phone. And the last step is to save contacts with the iPhone - when the connection has happened, select the copy item from iPhone to card (“Copy iPhone to SIM”);
- We are waiting for completion and then safely use our phone for its intended purpose.
It should be noted that it is through the firmware that it is possible to transfer and save all contact data without errors.
