The main wealth of the reserve is relic junipers. One hectare of these plants releases 30 kilograms of substances that kill all germs. There are three main types of junipers in the reserve: reddish, tall and odorous. The smell of these junipers persists for many years. And inhaling it cleanses the body, contributes to its renewal. During the excavation, ancient wood was found on the territory of the reserve. And she, as it turned out, retained her scent. Although it lay in the ground for 4 thousand years.
Nature reserve
Utrish, Anapa attractions some have in common. For example, a nature reserve. The Utrish reserve includes 10,008 hectares of the reserve. The rest are in the territory of Novorossiysk and Anapa. In total, there are 117 species belonging to endemic and 16 different relics. Five species of mosses grow on the territory of the Utrish Nature Reserve, which are not found anywhere else in Russia. And over 380 plants are listed in the Red Book.
The fauna of the reserve is unique and diverse. In Utrish, an empusa striped, Mediterranean tortoise, a steppe hawk and Aesculapian snake were found. According to general data, in the reserve there are 147 species of birds, 71 - fish, 8 - amphibians, mammals - 44 and reptiles - 14.
A black vulture, a white-tailed eagle, a snake-eater, and many others nest in Utrish. In the Red Book - 94 species of insects. And 20 of them live on the territory of the Utrish Reserve. Moreover, 13 of them are found exclusively in this territory. In the reserve you can see rare Mediterranean butterflies.
Big Utrish Attractions the village. Pearl Waterfall
Zhemchuzhny Waterfall is located 2.5 km from the Big Utrish. It is one of the most famous in the Krasnodar Territory. For many years, the shore of the lake has been parking for fishing boats. But now only sailing or motor yachts are moored. Near Snake Bay there is a descent to the sea and an observation deck. And right behind the lake is a pebble beach.
