Beach area in the village of Komarovo

If you want to be closer to nature, then we offer you another beach in Komarovo - on Shchuchye Lake. Somewhat away from the bay is a very pretty pine forest. The lake is located in its "embrace". However, the waters also did not pass an official check with a satisfactory result. This is a good place for fishermen - once in the Shchuchye lake trout and pike were found.
One minus - the place is a 40-60 minute walk from the Komarovo railway platform. However, it is definitely worth to visit this small (not more than 1 km long) glacial ancient lake, if only because of its picturesque nature - the reserve was officially opened here. We warn that it is quite deep, in contrast to the waters of the Gulf of Finland at Komarov’s beaches. The shores are sandy, and then the bottom is covered with silt.
The beach is free, accessible around the clock, though its infrastructure is not rich - parking lots and a rescue station.

How to get there

- To the recreation area on Shchuchye Lake: exit at the Komarovo railway station and move from it directly to the pine forest. The reference point will be Ozernaya Street - you must follow the path along it.
