So that you can safely send a letter, it is better to purchase an envelope marked "A" (that is, sending in Russia) or "D" (if the letter needs to be sent to Belarus, Kazakhstan, Ukraine and other countries around the world). Ready-made envelopes are, of course, more expensive, about 18-40 rubles. Remember that the price depends on the weight of the letter. If the mass is more than 20 grams, then you have to pay extra.
Sending letter
Above, we looked at how to fill out an envelope. Russian Post recommends adhering to the rules so that the letter accurately reaches the addressee. We list again:

- the correct filling of all fields and index;
- the presence of the stamp on the envelope.
It’s worth taking useful advice. If you are sending a letter for the first time, it is best not to drop it in a blue mail box, but take it to employees in the department for receiving and delivering letters. Let them check if everything is correct, whether it is necessary to pay extra for an advantage (if the letter weighs more than 20 grams).
Sent letters go to the recipient for a long time, at least 10 days. It also depends on the distance, the work of postal services. Even if the letter was sent around the city, you still need a stamp on the envelope.
