Where is it and how to get there?
Most vacationers with children in the Crimea and on the South Coast (the southern coast of Crimea), including, may wonder if there are water parks in Yalta or some other place? Yes they are. But the most popular and most famous is the "Blue Bay".
It is located near Yalta, more precisely, in the small, cozy resort town of Simeiz, which, in turn, is part of the Yalta city district. You can get here either by private car or by bus number 107.
If we talk about the first option, then everything is simple. In the navigator, you just need to set the route with the end point: " Crimea, Yalta, Simeiz, 80 Sovetskaya St. " or use the map.
As for the option with the bus, then everything is a little different. Direct flights go only from Alupka, Simeiz and Yalta, and in the latter case, you can choose a regular bus (cheaper) or branded (more expensive) from the water park itself.
To get, for example, from the capital of Crimea - Simferopol to Simeiz, you will first have to take a ticket to Yalta, and there you will already have to transfer to the 107th bus, which will take vacationers directly to the entrance of the water park.
What is in the water park?
Yalta Water Park "Blue Bay" was founded back in 2001, and since then it has always become only better. The efforts were not in vain, and soon this place received a very significant Green Key award.
It is also worth noting the fact that this water park in Yalta is the only one in Crimea that works entirely on sea water. It is changed every day with powerful pumps, and filtering in several stages allows you to make the water crystal clear.
Now for the rides. There are many of them: slides, pools, watering, fountains and much more. It makes no sense to talk about all of them, but the most popular ones are worth it.
Hill "Big hole"
The appearance of the attraction resembles a more colorful snake. The total length of the slide is 116 meters, the descent speed reaches 4 m / s, and in time the journey lasts about a minute or a little more. Steep turns, sharp turns, descents and ascents will provide an adrenaline rush of 100%.
Hill "Tsunami"
This attraction can be called unique, because nothing like this can be found in any other water park. Outwardly, the slide looks like a wave with several steps, which are not just like that. They provide the "ups and downs" of the vacationer. The attraction has the following parameters: height 13 m, length 95 m, descent speed can reach 11 m / s! You can go down either one or two people.
Family Constrictor Hill
Attraction for the whole family. Up to 4 people can go down in a big circle at a time. The slide has a width of 2 m, a height of 16 m and a length of 137 m. A great way to get a lot of unforgettable emotions and a desire to ride again.
In addition to these three, the water park has other attractions (11 in total), as well as various pools and a children's complex for the smallest.
