Among the excursion routes in the south of our country, waterfalls are especially popular. Gebius - among them. This is one of the most beautiful creations of nature. They got their name by the name of Mount Gebiuss, where they are located at an altitude of about 150-200 meters. However, in different sources you can find other names: Bigius or Teshebsky. They are a cascade of seven waterfalls of different heights and lengths. But the most frequently conducted excursions to three of them - the most picturesque. The highest waterfall is the Devil's Mouth. It reaches a height of 20 meters. A little less - "Lace" with its height of 17 meters. "Vysotsky's Grotto" is named after Vladimir Semenovich Vysotsky, who often rested in the village of Dzhubga and often visited the Gebius waterfalls. Looking at the "Grotto", it seems that jets of water flow from many small round caves. And all because the rock has a porous structure, and the pores are quite large.
Among the waterfalls there is also a “Gray Beard”. Water masses fall from a twelve-meter height. And through the streams, green moss shines through which the rock is covered. The nature surrounding Gebius Falls is also magnificent. Photos of these places awaken the desire to immediately find themselves in Gelendzhik, surrounded by an oak-hornbeam forest, to go along the path and pick one or two berries of rose hips, elderberries or blueberries, to see how honeysuckle and scumpy bloom.

Independent travel is good in that you can slowly explore all the beauties, and a large number of people will not interfere.
