Children's art: application "Owl"

In children's art, applications occupy a special place. They can be made of any materials, can be voluminous and flat. Combine all these characteristics will be the application "Owl".

Materials for work

To complete the application you will need:

1. Hard cardboard in blue. To make the picture more rigid, you can take a thick cardboard from the box and paint it with blue gouache.
2. Colored paper. You will need gray, brown, green, white, black and yellow.
3. Feathers. Fluff will do, too, and tough large feathers will do.
4. PVA glue.
5. Clay "Moment" is transparent.
6. Scissors with rounded ends. Such a child will not get hurt.
7. A simple pencil.
8. Ruler.
9. Compass.
10. Vata.
11. Black and dark green felt-tip pens.

Beginning of work

Before starting work, an adult needs to prepare all the materials.

1. It is necessary to cut out patterns from thick cardboard: a large oval (owl’s body), a medium-sized circle (head), a smaller circle than the average (whites of the eyes), a small circle (pupils), a high triangle with one acute angle (beak), a small square with rounded corners (owl’s paws), a branch of any shape with a width slightly smaller than the rectangles for the fingers, and leaves of any shape and size.
2. Small feathers do not need to be specially prepared. Large feathers need to be cleaned of cuttings and cut into smaller parts.
3. Cardboard can be prepared on your own or with your child.

When everything is prepared, the application "Owl" from paper can be performed.

Step-by-step instruction for preparing parts

1. From gray paper you need to cut the body of an owl and head. To do this, a template is drawn on paper, then both circles are cut along the resulting contour.
2. From white paper, whites of the eyes are likewise cut out. There should be two white circles.
3. From black - pupils. You should get two little black circles.
4. From yellow paper, two triangles are cut according to the pattern. Then they are folded in half, and a small incision is made at the base. In the colored direction, the base bends to the length of the cut.
5. Six small squares are also cut out of yellow paper.
6. A branch is cut from brown. Application "Owl" - spring crafts, you need to make leaves.
7. Cut them out of green paper. The number of leaves can be any.

Application assembly

Application "Owl" is collected according to the following algorithm:

1. For a quarter of the length of the whole cardboard, counting from the bottom, a branch is glued with PVA glue.
2. On the top of the branch, edge to edge, the body of the owl is glued with the same glue.
3. A little with a lap sticks his head.
4. Under the body of an owl, directly on a branch, paws are glued. Three fingers - close to each other, the other three - after a certain distance, also close to each other.
5. In the middle of the head are pasted whites of the eyes of an owl.
6. The owl's beak is glued in a special way. A thin layer of glue is applied to the curved edges. Then the triangle folds slightly along the fold, and in this position the bent base is glued with the fold up. Then the same thing is done with the second triangle, only it is glued close to the top and fold down. A small pyramid should turn out, which will stand out from the overall flat picture.
7. Pupils are glued to the middle of the proteins.
8. Vata in the form of clouds is attached to the blue background around the owl with Moment glue.
9. Feathers are randomly glued to the body and head. You need to use the same glue. Feathers need to be attached so that they remain fluffy and soft.
10. With a black felt-tip pen, you need to separate the fingers of the owl, and with dark green draw veins on the leaves.

Craft is ready! It remains to issue it in a frame or hang it on the wall above the baby's bed.
