Among the numerous stations of the Moscow Metro there are those that were built relatively recently. But literally after a short time period, an accident occurred on the Tsaritsyno - Orekhovo segment. Due to a violation of insulation, the tunnel in this section of the train run was flooded. It took more than a month to eliminate the consequences of the accident and recover. So the passengers were able to step on the platform of the Orekhovo station again only in early February 1985.

Behind the station there are dead ends, which in the past were used to turn trains. And after the Zamoskvoretskaya line was extended, a service point and night parking for trains were located here. But during the morning hours, due to the heavy loading of the station, the trains still turn around at this place.
At the Orekhovo station there is only one lobby. And you can get out of the subway through the underpass directly to Bazhenova street or Shipilovsky passage.
