Odessa is the most colorful city in Ukraine, and its main advantage is the ability to surprise. In the summer, trains and buses drop out of their doors many lovers of relaxation at sea.
There are a lot of beaches in this city, the most popular, but also loaded among them are those located closer to the center. If you leave the railway station on tram 18 towards the Bolshoy Fontan station and get to the very end of the Health Trail, you will see a beautiful promenade and beach with amazingly soft and clean sand. Beach description
If you get by tram or minibus (No. 215, 223) to station 16 "Bolshoy Fontan", you can see a picturesque promenade located parallel to it. Beautiful and well-kept flowerbeds, a large number of green spaces and comfortable benches, cleanliness and the blue expanse of the sea - all this makes the “Golden Coast” (Odessa) not only a stunningly attractive stretch of coast, but also a place where you can spend time in the evening.
This small beach always seems full of people, although in fact it is loaded much less than its more popular holiday destinations. This is due to the fact that you need to get to it from the city center for about 30 minutes by public transport. But the purest sand and water of an unusual blue color, which can not be found on other beaches, fully compensate for the time spent.
The guests and residents of the city are greeted by 2 proud snow-white stone lions, near which tourists like to be photographed. The embankment was recently restored, and now the beach "Golden Coast" (Odessa) looks like a cozy coastal corner in a European coastal city.
