From ancient times
Mention of the first attempts to find out the features of a person’s personality by handwriting is attributed to the times of Nero and Confucius. The latter stated in one of the written monuments of that era that he could tell for sure which person is “magnanimous” and which is “vulgar” by looking at their handwriting.
