Losinoostrovskaya station in Moscow (Yaroslavl direction) was opened in 1902. It includes one main and two intermediate platforms. One of them is designed for high-speed trains going from the capital to Mytishchi, Bolshevo and Pushkino. This station owes its name to the Elk Island national park. The exchange of wagons with the District Station has been the main focus of its work for over 100 years.
History of development
The Losinoostrovskaya station at the end of the 19th century was a small suburban platform. It operated a wooden station, similar to a country house. He had fanciful awnings around the edges. This station building was used until 1970, and some old buildings are located on the station to date.
