Gradually, the art of origami became available to everyone and spread throughout the world.

There is a special colored paper for origami. But even from the most ordinary paper sheet, you can make several different types of frogs. Some of them jump, others only open their mouths, and others can be very similar to real ones. Now we will tell you how to make a frog that can jump.

For work, we need a regular sheet of thin A4 paper. Before you make a frog out of paper, you need to cut the sheet so that it makes a square. A square sheet of paper is folded diagonally so that the opposite corners align. Then the sheet needs to be bent and bent again, combining other opposite corners. Now you need to fold the sheet of paper again and fold it in half to make a rectangle. The upper corners of the rectangle are bent inward along the diagonal folds.

The result is a triangle with two short edges and one long. Short edges need to be bent towards the center towards each other, and then bent to the edges of the formed triangles - these are the future legs of your frog. When you yourself understand how to make a frog out of paper, you can teach your child this. We continue to make a frog. After you have bent the short edges from the center to the edges, the frog needs to be turned over and the lower corners bent to the top of the triangle. Thus, a square consisting of two triangles turned out in the upper part. You need to take the inner edges and tuck them to the center.

At the top are two corners from which the eyes are made. It is necessary to bend these corners in half, and then bend up. Later, when the frog is ready, eyes are drawn on these little triangles. And now the frog needs to be turned back and bent in half, first from itself, and then again in half, but to itself. All! Now the frog can be painted green, and in order to make it jump, you just need to lightly push with a slight sliding movement on the fold formed on the back. For the frog to jump better and further, you do not need to make it big. Very jumping frogs are obtained from notebook sheets of paper.

When you learn how to make a jumping frog, you can make a croaking frog for a puppet theater. Having made a couple of such frogs, you can play a small home performance. Jumping and croaking frogs only vaguely resemble real ones, and frogs that look like living ones are much more difficult to make. But gradually, it will be possible to move from simple figures to making more complex ones.
