Canary costumeIn fact, this is a fairly versatile suit. If New Year's “snowflakes”, “bunnies” and “Christmas trees” cannot be worn on a spring holiday, then a canary costume will come in handy, say, on March 8th.
Most likely, your child will like this bright yellow costume, if only because there will most likely be no other such in a group in a kindergarten or in a school class. Remember, every time you came to the next morning party, you saw at least five princesses and six birds with one stone. If you make a canary costume, you will completely avoid repetition, and your child will feel unique.
All that is needed is a yellow dress with wings and a mask. Making it at home is easy. Take a piece of yellow fabric, preferably satin or any other "light". Cut a large circle with a hole in the middle. It should be a kind of skirt-sun. But this hole is not for the belt, but for the neck. Sew the sleeves so that when the child raises his hands up, wings are obtained. That's all!
You can make the canary costume much more elegant by decorating it with sequins and sequins. A bird mask can be bought at the store. If you did not find a yellow mask, then you can buy any other and paint it at home or paste over with yellow paper.

In specialized stores, suits-overalls are sold today. They are very soft and look like plush toys. In this outfit, your child will look very cute. However, if you do not want to spend money on a costume for one evening, then you can do it yourself.
All you need is a jacket, preferably brown, with a hood, pants, fringe, feather boa, gloves or mittens. Sew the ears onto the hood, and between them stretch the boa (this will be the mane). Sew a boa tail onto the trousers at the back. Attach the fringe to the sleeves and trousers at the ends. On the belt, you can attach a “saddle” made of fabric or a pillow with a belt. Put on the mittens - hooves. Complete the look with appropriate makeup and you're done!
