In psychotherapy in the early nineties of the last century, a new method appeared, which was called the "Hellinger Constellation." Having received its name thanks to the founder, it is successfully used by specialists today. Moreover, every year it enjoys increasing popularity, since its use, oddly enough for many, is striking in its effectiveness. Followers appear, specialists are trained.
B. Hellinger at one time listened and mastered the course of psychoanalysis, family and gestalt therapy. Summarizing his knowledge and skills, he (together with like-minded people) created the method of Bert Hellinger's constellations , which is based on the synthesis of all currents in psychology.

He was able to identify patterns that lead families to destructive conflicts. This method is equally used in both group and individual work. Clients can be persons over 14 years old who really want to find solutions to their problem. You should not attend such classes out of idle curiosity, since the main thing here is positive motivation, not skepticism. Hellinger constellations help to deal with problems in family relationships, work well in the presence of various somatic diseases, when working with fears, they are applicable for resolving conflicts in a team. When considering these problems, special attention is paid to confidentiality, non-disclosure of information received during therapy. This is a professional psychotherapeutic method, it is used in their work by those who have undergone appropriate training, since the interpretation of the results and the actual arrangement of places depends on the professional competence and experience of the specialist.
Hellinger's constellations are as follows: first, the client of a psychotherapist from a group of people selects those that he thinks are most suitable for working out a specific situation.
Then he places them in the space allotted for work, as his own intuition tells him. This is where the work begins. People or figures (if we are talking about individual psychotherapy), placed by the client in space, are a reflection of the subconscious image of the problem situation.
Hellinger systemic constellations got their name because they are working on systemic problems, a few meetings are held at large time intervals. โFamily interweavingโ - another term introduced by this psychotherapist - is that in the family past (globally - of the whole kind, in an extended family) it did not end. The memory of the ancestors dominates the present, as if it requires the completion of unfinished business. Therefore, the descendants are simply doomed to complete something begun by their ancestors. Such an interweaving is easy to recognize - it takes place if there is a lot of effort to achieve a goal, but nothing comes out. For example, a person who carefully monitors his health is constantly sick; one who does not shy away from any work can barely make ends meet.

It is striking that the deputies (people whom the client chooses to arrange) play the role of a person about whom they are completely unaware of anything, but, nevertheless, they accurately reproduce the emotions and feelings of the one whom they replace.
Hellinger's constellations are a unique and unusual method; it works, despite the apparent near-science and shades of esotericism.
