There is nothing nicer for mom than to please your baby with outfits like an adult. Now that the summer is just around the corner, it's time to take care of replenishing the wardrobe with light new things, so we will sort out how to tie a sundress for the girl.

We will knit the first model with knitting needles made of thin yarn for children, which you can choose to your taste. For work, we need:
- acrylic or cotton yarn;
- circular knitting needles matching thread number;
- a needle with a big eye.
Pattern on the yoke:
The number of loops in the figure is a multiple of 4, plus 2 n edge.
1st row: remove the first loop as an edge, 2 front, 3 front, without removing from the knitting needle, crochet and 3 front, 1 front (repeat repeat).
2 row: in the wrong rows, all the loops are wrong.
3 row: hem, 3 front, without removing from the knitting needles, double crochet and 3 front, 1 front (repeat repeat).
Sundress for a girl: getting started
We draw on the circular knitting needles the number of loops that is needed for the neck, we connect them into a circle and knit a 2x2 elastic band 3 cm high. Then we draw a raglan with a thread of contrasting color. Suppose that there are 104 loops on the knitting needles, then we put the mark on 1 loop, then put 21 stitches on the armhole, mark 1 with thread, put 29 loops on the front, 1 mark, 21 on the second armhole, 1 mark, 29 remain on the back. The loops marked with a contrasting thread will form a raglan, for this we knit 3 out of one.
We knit a sarafan bodice with a “paw” pattern, you can alternate several colors of yarn every 2 rows of a pattern, as can be seen in the photo. When the width of the front will correspond to the half-circumference of the chest (+2 cm), remove the loops of the armhole on the contrasting thread with a needle and continue to knit the sundress skirt in a circle with the front smooth surface to the required length. So that the edge of the sundress does not bend, we knit the last rows with a garter stitch or stripes: 3 rows of purl, 3 front, 3 purl. Close the loops freely without tightening.
On the loose needles we transfer the loops of the armhole and we knit a 2x2 elastic band 3 cm wide, similar actions are carried out with the second armhole. Our knitted sundress for the girl is ready, it remains to gently steam it with a not too hot iron through the fabric.
Crocheted dress for girls: getting started
We knit a chain of air loops corresponding to the circumference of the chest (+ 3 cm). A girl of three years will need approximately 60 cm (= 200 loops). We connect the chain in a circle and knit a row of double crochet posts. In the second row, alternate 3 double crochet, then 2 air loops. With this pattern, we knit about 20 rows, after which we narrow the bodice to the armhole and tie it in front, forming a roll-out of the neck. We tie the thread from the side of the armhole and knit separately the left and right half of the back, leaving a cut for the fastener.
The sundress skirt can be tied separately with a lace and sewn, or it can be tied to the lower row of the bodice. It must be remembered that the width of the skirt should be three times the volume of the bodice, then our outfit will be beautiful, like a real princess. The skirt is made viscous according to any pattern you like. We tie the armholes and neck with a crayfish step or scallops, decorate the bodice of the sundress with ribbons and knitted flowers. Our dress for the girl is ready!
