The “Parental Control” function (also called “Limitations”) allows you to restrict access for users of Apple devices to certain programs or options on the device. Turning it on is very simple. Why do I need the "Constraints" function
Using such a function will allow you to prohibit a teenager or a child who is the main user of the device from accessing resources where there is adult content, or to allow access to certain specific sites and block all others. In addition, there is the possibility of setting restrictions on films, music, books, television shows, programs. Particularly popular in this regard is the Siri program, which recognizes obscene language. That is, you can ban everything that does not suit you.
But sometimes a problem arises when a person forgot the password on the iPad for the "Restrictions" function. And then there are several scenarios.

Password reset without jailbreak
First, it is worth noting that to complete this task you will need some software (iBackupBot for iTunes) - a program for managing backup of Apple devices. If you forgot your password on the iPad, you need to install this program by downloading it to your PC.
So, we connect the device to the PC via USB and launch iTunes. We go to the "Edit" section, then "Settings" and "Devices", after which we erase all backup copies of your iPad so as not to get lost in them. Next, make a new backup in iTunes, selecting the desired device in the sidebar, and click "Create copy now."
Next, switch to iBackupBot and go to System Files - HomeDomain - Library - Preferences. There we are looking for a file called com.apple.springboard.plist. For security, you can save and copy the original file by right-clicking on it, choosing Export Selected Item.
Then those who forgot the password on the iPad need to click on this file. After that, a window appears with a proposal to purchase the full version of the program, but we do not need it. We reject and continue to work. After refusing to purchase the full version and entering the registration code, we will see the contents of the file into which you need to insert the following lines:

Insert and save. Four zeros in the last line is a new code for those who have forgotten the password restrictions on the iPad. Then we start iTunes again and go to the "Overview". Jailbreak password recovery
For those who have forgotten the password on the iPad mini or iPad, but do not want to mess around for a long time, there is a faster way to recover it. This simple method saves owners of devices with a jail. This will require the shareware iFile jailbreak application. It can be found at Cydia.
Here you don’t need to bother with programs like iTunes and iBackupBot on your computer. If your iOS device is jailbroken, you only need to launch the iFile application on the device and begin work on restoring the password of restrictions.
Go to the menu Var - Mobile - Library - Prefrences and look for the same file there - com.apple.springboard.plist. Click on it and select "Text Editor". In the upper panel on the left there is a button “Change”, if you click on it, you can edit the code. Select the desired line and paste our code:
