The metal border of the screen with a partial coverage of the sides gives the device reliability, protecting the increased battery (2400 mA / h). The advantage of an already good build is the plastic cover, which is firmly attached to the hull and can be easily removed by pressing on a special mini-hollow. Under the closing part are two SIM slots, and you can use both standard and reduced card models. On the sides of the smartphone are located: power button, volume control, power mode switch. The sound signal in the Philips W832 model is adequate, clean and a little harsh, but this does not interfere with listening to even classical music and rock on the phone, and in good quality, which means that you can replace it with a small mid-range player. Unfortunately, in terms of “durability”, the Xenium W832 does not even stand close with the first phones of this model range, which held the charge for 10-12 days. But everything is known by comparison, therefore, if you compare it with other gadgets on the Android platform, it is less likely to need recharging. So, it can withstand up to 48 hours of active work at a load that takes into account the daily use of the camera; periodic connection to the Wi-Fi system for checking e-mail and short-term surfing on the Internet; listening to recorded music and radio; sending several SMS messages. In the battery saving mode, which can be configured either using the switch on the side panel or by selecting the desired category in the menu, access to the Internet is blocked and the screen periodically goes blank, but the Xenium W832 can work up to 5 days.
The camera with an 8-megapixel module is very easy to use, it allows you to take standard photos of low quality. Another drawback is poor stabilization, so sharpness will need to be set for the first 3-5 seconds.
So, what about the Xenium W732 smartphone as a whole? Battery life is not too impressive. But it is still larger than other smartphones. A plus in this situation is the presence of an energy-saving mode, including which you can extend the operating time of the device. The Philips W832 is productive. It has a good screen, which, although far from the leading flagships of the market, is trivial, given the cost of the gadget. The undoubted advantage is the presence of two sims, excellent sound for the middle class gadget and excellent build quality.
