Shorts are comfortable and even more closed. They are preferred to wear under a sports uniform, jeans, leggings. In addition, not only tight-fitting models are widespread, but also more free ones, richly decorated with ruffles, lace and multilayer ribbons.

Sizing
The finished pattern of women's underpants most often consists of two symmetrical parts and a lining on the gusset. To build a correct and competent pattern, you need to take measurements.
For size 48, the measurements will be as follows:
- waist circumference (72 cm);
- hip circumference (98 cm);
- seat side height (26 cm). This height is measured while sitting on a chair from the waist to the hyoid fold. Or - from the waist to the start line of the pubic bone in a standing position.
Building patterns
Build a pattern start from the upper left corner. Point T is marked there. Strictly down from this point it is necessary to postpone 26 cm (this is the height of the seat according to a previously taken measurement). The gusset length is also delayed: LL1 = hip circumference divided by 10 - 1 cm. Three long horizontal lines are drawn from the three points T, L, L1.
From t. L1, a quarter of the thigh circumference is laid horizontally to the right - 1.5 cm. Point B is marked. A vertical line is drawn from this point, point B1 is marked.
Size BB1 = 21 cm minus the height of the thigh by a measure taken.
The construction of the waistline starts from point T. To the right side, measure a quarter of the circumference of the waist and mark point T1. T1 and point B2 are interconnected.
The construction of the upper line for cowards starts at point T. 7 cm is laid down from it, 6 cm is laid off from T1 in a straight line T1B2. These points T and T1 are connected by a straight line.
The side stitch will be equal to T2T3, this is 4 cm.
Seam gussets are built from L1 up and down. They lay the same distance on both sides - 2.2 cm (this is a quarter of the gusset length obtained).
The side seam of women's underpants is T2T3 = 4 cm.
From the points that result, horizontal lines to the right are drawn. Length - 3.5 cm. These points are connected to T3.
Look at the diagram: the left side is the front pattern, the right side is the back pattern, black lines are auxiliary, crimson are the main ones, according to which they are cut. The first horizontal line is OT, the second is OB, the vertical raspberry is the height of the seat.
The resulting pattern makes it easy to sew women's shorts and shorts. The pattern is simple. You can change it by increasing or decreasing the okatas on the buttocks, the height along the back or front.
