There are several settlements with the name Golovinka in Russia - in Kursk, Oryol, Moscow, Rostov regions. Near Sochi, in the Lazarevsky district, there is also its own Golovinka. Rest here is not at all the same as in other resorts of the Black Sea coast. A few words about the village
Named after Yevgeny Golovin, the glorious Russian general, the Sochi Golovinka grew up on the banks of the mountain river Shakh, one of the longest and most full-flowing in the region. Along it stretches the famous tourist route, opened almost 100 years ago. In the 30s of the 19th century, the famous Aivazovsky fought in this area. Golovinka was once a fort. Many Decembrists had a hand in its construction, who in the village put a memorial sign under the planted Rayevsky tulip tree itself - the pride of local residents and a must-see point for visiting all visitors. Clean shady streets, neat private houses immersed in the greenery of gardens, small cozy cafes, hospitable residents - this is what modern Golovinka is. Rest here is calm and measured. The infrastructure of the village is not as rich and diverse as in large cities, but everything you need is available. There is a post office, telephone call center, ATM and a branch of Sberbank, a network of cafes, canteens, a hotel, hairdressers, a hospital, small shops, a supermarket, and a market.
Location and transport
Away from the bright, noisy and slightly ambitious Sochi is Golovinka. Rest here is not disturbed by the roar of cars, loud music, rattling in the bars and discos until morning, and other sounds common to resorts. Nevertheless, the village is not divorced from the world. Highway No. 27 runs through Golovinka, leading to Sochi, Tuapse, Lazarevsky. Adler Airport is located within 70 km from the village, railway station - 35 km, Lazarevsky - 18 km. You can get to Golovinka by train from Adler (get off on the Golovinka platform) or from Art. Lazarevskaya (ambulances and passengers stop there), and from there take a taxi or take the minibus number 155. It’s most convenient to take a taxi from Adler airport, and it’s cheaper to take the minibus number 105k to the bus station, and then transfer to the minibus number 155.
Sea and beach
Wonderful beach holidays in Golovinka! A photo without words says how spacious it is. There are several beaches in the village. Central - the widest (up to 80 meters), sand and pebble. Entering the water here without boulders, gentle. In the village and nearby there are sanatoriums and recreation centers. “Aviator” (formerly “Golovinka”) is a recreation center offering excellent accommodation, moderate meals (a prerequisite), a wide range of entertainment (adult and children's pools, a billiard room, a gym with exercise machines, a playground, breakfast cereals excursions, equipped beach). The rooms are based on the standard category only. But they have all the amenities, air conditioning, refrigerator, TV, good furniture. Room prices depend on the season and range from 800-1300 rubles per person per night (all inclusive).
