But what to do if you do not know how to knit and do not even know where to start.

If you are new to this business, then you need to learn something about crochet hooks and threads. Hooks differ in size and materials from which they can be made. There are two loops left on the hook. Now grab the working thread and pull it through all the loops. On the hook you should have one loop left. When you can already master well the skill of crocheting columns without a crochet, try moving on to a more complex look - a half-crochet with a crochet. Crochet, start tying the air loops. Crochet the crochet, i.e. wrap the work thread around the tool. After that, insert the hook into the loop of the previous row or the pigtail of the air loops and extend the working thread. It should now have three loops. The one that is closer to the hook itself is now grabbed and pulled further through the two remaining ones. This is the double crochet.
Now try alternating a double crochet with a single crochet. When it starts to turn out well and quickly, then you can proceed to the next task in order to better master crochet. The half-column and the double crochet are very similar. Start knitting as if you were going to do what you already learned - a half crochet. When you have three stitches left on the hook, double crochet and knit two stitches together. Then - again the yarn and connect the remaining two loops into one. You just crocheted a double crochet.
