Novosibirsk is a large city in which there are many interesting places, which include squares. It is pleasant to walk there, to feel the space and freedom.

The purpose of this action was to organize a parking space for arriving carts and cars following the example of the Leningrad Gostiny Dvor. The idea was approved, and such a complex was created on the square in the city center between the buildings of the city building and the Industrial Bank. Also nearby are government agencies owned by the courtyard of Siberia and the Kraypotrebsoyuz. Experts actively discussed this project, because it was then that they chose where the city center would be located.
But already from 1926, builders were engaged in the formation of this item. At first, the square served as a parking area for vehicles at the Business Center. In 1931, a square was formed here. Then the Opera and Ballet Theater appeared.
Kalinin Square
A good place for a walk is Kalinin Square (Novosibirsk, Zaeltsovsky District). Here intersects Dusi Kovalchuk street with Red Avenue. These are two highways forming the structure of the city.
