Manhattan Great Square
Another Great Square is located in another area of New York City - Manhattan. Many inexperienced travelers confuse them undeservedly. Manhattan Square is not located at Prospect Park Gate, but at the intersection of 59th Street and 5th Avenue. The construction of the square was completed in 1916.
Street 59th Street divides the area into two parts: northern and southern. In the northern part of the square is a statue of General Sherman, which was cast from real gold.
