Between Novorossiysk and Anapa on the Black Sea coast there is a small urban-type settlement Utrish, in which the dolphinarium is located.
A little about this marvelous place
In 1984, a scientific marine station was opened in Utrish, which is engaged in the study of marine mammals. It was created at the initiative of the Institute of Ecology and Evolution named after A. N. Severtsov of the Russian Academy and has a certain number of branches in the cities of the Russian Federation and an office in Moscow. Dolphinarium on Krestovsky Island was opened on August 27, 1998.
Until 2000, it was located in the basin of the Maritime Institute. Now located in the Spartak pool. Dolphinarium on Krestovsky is the only one in the town. Therefore, he quickly captured the love of not only Petersburgers, but also guests of the city.

Artists and their tricks
Dolphins are remarkable animals; they enjoy the tremendous attention, reverence and love of most viewers. They have a well-developed mind and outstanding capabilities, which are shown in the submissions. Dolphins do different tricks: dive and then jump high out of the water, spin in the air, sing and even dance. Representations include fur seals, belugas, bottlenose dolphins of the Black Sea, as well as sea lions.
In the presentation program in various combinations take part:
- snow-white belugas;
- northern lions;
- Pacific walruses;
- Dolphins of the Black Sea.
Dolphinarium on Krestovsky invites everyone to their performances. Here you can see how artists sing, dance, outline, make the highest jumps and interesting tricks. The program lasts about an hour. Allowed free shooting of performances from their place.
Bathing
Apart from various shows whose program is alternately updated and changed, the dolphinarium on Krestovsky invites you to swim with dolphins.

Photos for memory
After the performance, you can take pictures with dolphins on the platforms. Photographic equipment of the dolphinarium (the photo is printed and given to you for an hour after the end of the presentation). Prices range from 300 to 700 rubles - depending on the type and size of the picture. Claims for the quality of photos are accepted only for an hour. The price for shooting your photo equipment is 300 rubles per photo.
Feeding dolphinarium artists is strictly prohibited! There is no wardrobe in the establishment - in the hall you are in outer clothing.
