Novgorod region is famous for its picturesque nature. And of course, in this region there are many convenient recreation facilities. One of the region’s most popular complexes is Konstantinovo, a manor located on Lake Seliger. Tourists who decide to visit this base are waiting for comfortable rooms, excellent food and many kinds of entertainment.
Location Features
The Konstantinovo estate is located in the northern part of the largest body of water in the Seliger lake group. The distance from it to Moscow is about 350 km, to St. Petersburg - 380 km. Actually, Seliger itself is a chain of lakes of various sizes, stretching for almost 100 km from north to south. All ponds are interconnected by picturesque ducts.
The coastlines of Seliger Lakes are indented and covered with pine forests. Large water spaces, the air saturated with the smell of coniferous resin - all this creates here just excellent conditions for rest and recovery.
Holiday Village: Overview
Konstantinovo is a manor offering tourists comfortable rooms in chopped, environmentally friendly one-story houses. If you wish, you can rent cottages for families and friendly companies. From all sides the base is surrounded by a pine forest. Actually, Lake Seliger itself is within walking distance of the cottages.
Externally, the complex looks like an old Russian village with solid huts. The beach at the base has its own sandy beach. In total, the complex can take up to 100 tourists at a time. Living at the base is allowed including pets. The nearest settlement to the complex is the village of Zykovschina.
Rented rooms
If desired, tourists can rent on the basis of "Konstantinova estate" (Seliger) standard, family or luxury rooms. For the convenience of guests in the rooms for rent in the complex are provided:
Each room has its own shower room and a balcony (or terrace). In the triple standard rooms, among other things, there is a sofa. Family rooms include a lounge and two connecting bedrooms. In suites, tourists can use the living room, two large rooms with beds and a seating area. Unfortunately, there are no refrigerators in the rooms of the base.
Infrastructure
Of course, Konstantinovo is a manor that has all sorts of amenities, including directly on the territory. For tourists in this complex are provided:

- Russian bath with access to the lake;
- sports equipment rental.
The bathhouse located on the territory of the complex is designed for simultaneous visits of 15 people. Immediately after the steam room, vacationers have the opportunity to plunge into the lake or take a shower.
There is also a horse yard at the base. Horseback riding in the surrounding forests in winter and summer is very popular among the guests of the complex.
You can rent a pedal boat , scooter, boat, etc. at the rental center of sports equipment at this base. The staff of the center includes, among other things, fishing and hunting instructors.
Nutrition
“Konstantinovo” is a manor (photos of its picturesque territory are presented on the page), where you can rent rooms with a guesthouse. The complex, surrounded by tall pines, built a chopped restaurant.
The menu of this institution includes mainly traditional Russian dishes. Also, honey is served here, obtained from the base’s own apiary and vegetables and greens grown right there. If desired, the restaurant of the complex can be rented for an anniversary, holiday, corporate party, etc.
Cost of living
Konstantinovo - the estate is relatively inexpensive. The price for renting rooms at the base is not too high. Depending on the category of room, the cost of living per day per person without meals can be 1500-1800 rubles. For extra space you need to pay 850 p.
Kids up to 5 years old can stay in the complex for free. For children 5-8 years old a discount of 20% is provided, and for 8-12 years old - 10%. Three meals a day in the restaurant of the base costs about 950 p. per person per day.
The opinion of vacationers about the complex
The base “Konstantinova Estate” received different reviews from tourists - both good and not very good. Some people like this place, others believe that vacationers here could provide more comfortable living conditions.
The positive aspects of this base among tourists are beautiful nature, delicious food in the dining room, the opportunity to sunbathe and swim in the lake. The disadvantages of the complex, many of its former guests include not too polite attitude of the staff and not particularly thorough cleaning of the rooms.
How to get there
From Moscow, the base can be reached by moving along the Novorizhskoe highway through Volokolamsk and Selizharovo. At the entrance to Ostashkov you should turn right (near the village of Zalesye). Then you need to go through such settlements as Pokrovskoye, Grinino, Krasuha, Orekhovo, Polesie, Polnovo. Then you should turn right towards the villages of Lavrovo and Zykovschina.
You can also get to the base and along the Leningrad highway. In this case, you must first get to the city of Valdai, and then to the village of Yazhelbitsy. Here you should turn left following the sign for Demyanovsk. Having passed this city, you need to turn left again towards the village of Istoshino. After this settlement, you should move to the village of Polnovo and, not reaching it for about one kilometer, take the direction to the villages of Lavrovo and Zykovschina.
