The Golden Rule for Knitting Patterns

It is important to remember that, having decided to knit one thing or another and picking up patterns of knitting patterns and patterns that will be contained in the product, it is necessary then to connect a small fragment according to the existing schemes. This is the golden rule of the knitter, which, however, is neglected by many. Herringbone pattern

We will begin to disassemble patterns for knitting with the option "Herringbone". It is very original. The pattern has a dense texture, so it can be used for knitting many warm things: pullovers, sweaters, hats, etc.

Knitting a pattern is absolutely not difficult, and you can dial an arbitrary number of loops. And, in fact, the whole process comes down to one algorithm: the spoke is inserted in two loops at once. A loop is output through them. The front one is for odd rows, and the wrong one is for even ones. Then one of the loops knitted in this way (right) is transferred to the right knitting needle. The left loop remains on the left, in order to subsequently repeat these actions already with it and the next loop. We knit the last unpaired loop in the row itself, respectively, to the current side - the front or the wrong side.

Chainmail Pattern

Samples of lace knitting are presented in this article with the “Chainmail” pattern. It is completely uncomplicated, but it requires freedom for the working thread so that gaps form in the “chain mail”.

The height of the pattern is four rows. In the usual way, we knit on the needles any odd number of loops.

• Row 1. All loops are front knitted.
• Row 2. The front loop is classic, behind the front wall. Loop shot without a thread, thread behind the canvas. Alternate them to the end of the row.
• Row 3. All loops are front knitted.
• Row 4. Loop shot without knit, thread behind the canvas. Front loop - classic, behind the front wall. Alternate them to the end of the row.

Canadian Gum Pattern

• Row 1. One front loop with two wrong ones alternate to the end of the row.
• Row 2. Two front loops with one wrong side alternate to the end of the row.
• Row 3. Facial. Then the front loop of the loop, two purl. Thus, we knit to the very end of the row.

Pattern "Rug", or "Fur"

But this fluffy pattern can be applied not only when knitting carpets. They can successfully trim almost any product or, for example, use it as the main pattern of a scarf or snood cap.
We collect an arbitrary number of loops.

• Row 1. All loops are facial.
• Row 2. Alternate between the front loop with a loop "rug", which fits so. The thread is introduced into the loop as for the front (grandmother's way). Put the working thread on the right knitting needle. We wrap the working thread around the finger and the knitting needle, and then we knit it all with a facial loop.
• Row 3. All loops are facial. Having knitted a loop "rug", pull on its pile so that it is well fixed.
• Row 4. Above the loop “rug” we knit a simple front loop. And above the usual face - a loop "rug".

Next, we knit in a cycle according to the scheme of rows 3 and 4.

Bukle

The following pattern, which is included in our patterns with knitting with needles with patterns, is called the “Boucle” (or “Large Pearl”). It is very simple - for its knitting enough skills to create the front and back loops. Despite the simplicity of execution, the pattern is unusually spectacular.

Knitting involves rapport in two loops in width, three rows in height. It happens as follows:

• Row 1: the front loop with the wrong one alternate with each other.
• Row 2 (as well as all even ones): we knit “according to the pattern” - the front loop is knitted over the front loop, and the wrong one over the wrong loop.
• Row 3: the reverse loop with the front loop alternate with each other.

"Honeycombs"

In the patterns of knitting with knitting needles with patterns for beginners, it is worth adding the "Honeycomb" pattern.

Due to its loose texture, it is ideal for knitting scarves, sweaters and other products requiring softness from the canvas. Therefore, if you plan to knit a scarf or snood, try a honeycomb pattern for it. It fits in this way:

• Row 1. Alternate to the end of the row the front loop and one untied with a crochet made before it.
• Row 2. We knit together the front two loops, then make a crochet and remove one loop without knitting it. This sequence is repeated until the very edge loop of the row.

"Puffs"

This pattern can be used when knitting hats, decorate them with a scarf or sweater. However, its application is not limited to such things - your imagination will tell you a lot of options for using the pattern “puffs”. The rapport is twelve rows. For the sample, you need to dial a multiple of four number of loops, add three loops for symmetry and, of course, two edge ones.

• Row 1-4. Hosiery: all front loops are knitted in odd rows, and in even ones are purl.
• Row 5. We knit two front loops. Then we repeat this sequence cyclically: we loosen the loop 4 rows down, and then we knit it in the front, we knit three facial loops.
• Row 7-10. Hosiery: all front loops in odd rows, and in even ones - wrong;
• Row 11. We open the loop 4 rows down and knit it with the front, and knit the next three loops with the faces - until the end of the row. The remaining two loops are knitted with the facial ones.
• Row 12. All loops are purl.
